From the afternoon of Tuesday, April 30th, the pre-filled models for the new simplified tax return (730) will be available online on the website of the Revenue Agency for consultation. These models have been prepared with data provided by the Revenue Agency and other external entities, such as employers, pharmacies, and banks, and include approximately 1 billion and 300 million pieces of information related to the 2024 tax season.
The new simplified tax return eliminates the need for taxpayers to know details such as sections, lines, and codes, guiding them through the interface with intuitive and simple terms. Data related to housing, expenses, and family are grouped into separate sections to facilitate completion.
Once taxpayers have accepted or modified the data starting from May 20th, the system will automatically insert the information into the model. A new feature this year is the possibility of receiving refunds directly from the Agency, even if there is a tax substitute.
Taxpayers will have until September 30th, 2024, to submit the 730, and until October 15th for the Redditi model.
Among the pre-filled data, notable items include healthcare expenses, insurance premiums, and unique certifications for employees and self-employed individuals. This year’s novelties include data related to refunds for the “bonus vista” (vision bonus), sent by pediatric nurses and related to local public transport subscriptions.
Taxpayers can access the service through Spid credentials, electronic identity card (Cie), or national service card (Cns), and choose whether to complete the 730 in simplified or ordinary mode. In the first case, the data is displayed in a clear and simple interface.
Starting from this year, even entrepreneurs and self-employed professionals with a VAT number can consult the pre-filled declaration, while the 730 can include data that was previously intended for the Redditi model.
To view and download the declaration, it is necessary to access one’s reserved area with Spid, Cie, or Cns credentials, or delegate a family member or trusted person directly from the reserved area on the website of the Revenue Agency. You can find more information on the news article here: [link].
