A A4 accident has caused chaotic traffic on the Lower Garda today, involving a truck loaded with live chickens that overturned between the toll booths of Peschiera and Sirmione. The incident occurred last night and had significant repercussions on traffic, forcing authorities to close all lanes heading towards Milan to facilitate the removal of the spilled cargo. By noon, traffic jams had reached 7 kilometers, resulting in collisions and incidents that led to the temporary closure of the Peschiera toll booth.
The situation began to improve only in the afternoon when the operations were completed and traffic slowly started to flow again. Motorists faced a challenging morning, marked by delays and disruptions along one of the busiest stretches of the highway.
