This afternoon, an accident occurred on the A4, resulting in slowed traffic with queues reaching up to 3 kilometers between Sirmione and Peschiera, heading towards Padua. The incident, which took place around 1:30 PM, involved several vehicles, including a heavy goods vehicle transporting milk.
Emergency medical services were promptly alerted in red code, with the dispatch of a medical car and an ambulance to the scene of the accident. Fortunately, there are no reports of serious injuries among the occupants of the vehicles involved. Rescue operations and the restoration of traffic flow are still ongoing.
