Toscolano Maderno has declared a ban on vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the valley of the Paper Mills due to a high hydrogeological risk. The decision, made after a site inspection by a geologist on October 18, was communicated for safety reasons related to potential rockfalls along the access road.
Additionally, the Paper Museum will remain closed today and tomorrow as a precautionary measure. The restrictions also apply to bikers and hikers and will remain in effect until the current emergency is resolved, following the weather events that have worsened the situation in the area.
