During the summer months, specifically between June and August, a series of meetings dedicated to agricultural companies operating in the Trentino region will take place. These events, organized in various locations in the province, aim to provide crucial information regarding the agricultural sector.
Organizers and Themes
The meetings are promoted by a series of local institutions including the Employment Agency, the UMST Agriculture, the Operational Unit for Prevention and Safety in the Workplace of Apss, the Inspection Office and the Workplace Safety Office of the Employment Service, and the Mission Unit for Agricultural Strategy. The Department of Urban Planning, Energy, Cadastre, Land Registry, and Territorial Cohesion will also participate in the organization.
The main topics covered during the meetings will be employment relationships in agriculture, workplace safety, issues related to housing for seasonal workers, and the job matching service managed by the Employment Agency.
Meeting Schedule
The events will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the following dates and locations:
- Thursday, June 27 in Ala at the Zendri Hall, via Monte Soini 7E.
- Wednesday, July 3 in Rovereto at the Meeting Room of the Employment Center, Viale Trento 31.
- Wednesday, July 10 in Borgo Valsugana at the Paternolli Hall, Piazza Degasperi 20.
- Wednesday, July 17 in Tuenno (Ville d’Anaunia) at the Auditorium of the Comprehensive Institute, Via Maistrelli 11.
- Wednesday, July 24 in Mezzolombardo at the Spaur Hall, Piazza delle Erbe 36.
- Wednesday, July 31 in Trento at the Assembly Hall of the Cantina Sociale, Via dei Viticoltori 2.
- Wednesday, August 7 in Arco at the Council Chamber of the Municipal Casino, Via delle Magnolie 9.
Intervention Program
The meetings will be opened with institutional greetings from the provincial councilors Achille Spinelli (Economic Development, Employment, University and Research) and Giulia Zanotelli (Agriculture, Promotion of Trentino Products, Environment, Hydrogeological Defense and Local Authorities).
Subsequently, representatives from the Employment Service, the Employment Agency, and the UMST Agriculture will intervene, with a particular focus on the following topics:
Employment relationships in agriculture with particular regard to service contracts: Intervention curated by the Inspection Office of the Employment Service.
Workplace safety: Discussion on simplified health surveillance for seasonal workers. This segment will be curated by the Workplace Safety Office of the Employment Service under the direction of Dr. Marcello Cestari and the Operational Unit for Prevention and Safety in the Workplace of Apss directed by Dr. Dario Uber.
Housing for seasonal workers: Curated by UMST Agriculture together with the Department of Urban Planning, Energy, Cadastre, Land Registry, and Territorial Cohesion.
Finally, the job matching service managed by the Employment Agency will be presented.
