Until November 24, the La GrandeMela Shopping Center in Sona (VR) is hosting the innovative environmental education project titled “Archeoplastica on Tour.” This initiative, carried out in collaboration with Archeoplastica, aims to raise visitors’ awareness about plastic pollution and promote a more responsible use of this material. Through the collection and exhibition of ancient plastic waste sourced from beaches, the project illustrates the increasing presence of plastic in our oceans.
Conceived by Enzo Suma, founder of the MILLENARI DI PUGLIA association and active since 2018 in the fight against pollution, “Archeoplastica on Tour” offers an educational experience through various activities. These include the display of 32 plastic artifacts accompanied by explanatory captions, educational videos, and guided tours for local schools. Over 25 classes from primary schools will participate in these tours, thereby helping to foster greater awareness among young people about a crucial issue for their future.
