Castel Goffredo: Blasphemies shouted in church, young culprits identified. During a religious service last Saturday, several youths interrupted the ceremony by briefly entering and shouting blasphemies before fleeing through the streets of the town. Thanks to an investigation launched in the following week, the Local Police were able to identify those responsible, who were summoned to the station for a meeting with the Local Police Marshal and a municipal councilor. During this meeting, the young individuals were asked to publicly apologize to the parish priest and the community.
In addition to the apologies, each youth received a fine, and community service work was agreed upon, to be carried out together with their accompanying parents. The municipality emphasized the importance of social responsibility in the education of young people and highlighted that only two individuals reacted promptly during the incident by calling for law enforcement intervention. This episode is part of a broader context of deplorable behavior among the town’s youth, which requires attention and intervention from the community to combat such acts.
