The 23rd Brescia Art Marathon was officially presented at Palazzo Loggia, with the event scheduled for Sunday, March 9, 2025. This marathon, marking the beginning of the spring competition season in Italy, is organized by the ASD Rosa Running Team and enjoys the support of the Municipality of Brescia and the Fidal federations. During the presentation, Mayor Laura Castelletti emphasized that the event represents an important opportunity to promote culture and inclusivity in the city, stating that it “generates positive energy.” Councilor Alessandro Cantoni added that the event embodies the values of sport and offers a fresh perspective on the city.
This edition of the marathon will feature competitive routes of 42 km, 21 km, and 10 km, and will also serve as the first step towards the “Olympic Hearts” project, linked to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. The organizers announced additional initiatives such as “Tomorrow Runners,” dedicated to children, alongside cultural events aimed at celebrating the figure of marathon runner Walter Bassi. With a focus on inclusivity, athletes with disabilities will also be involved, demonstrating that the BAM is much more than just a race: it is an event that unites sport and community.
