An attempt at car theft ended with the arrest of a 19-year-old of Moroccan descent, residing in Odolo, during the night between Sunday and Monday in Bogliaco, a district of Gargnano. The young man tried to steal a parked car, but the sound of breaking glass attracted the attention of residents and the vehicle’s owner, who promptly alerted the authorities.
The carabinieri from the Salò Company quickly responded to the scene of the attempted theft, finding the vehicle with shattered windows and disconnected wires. Thanks to the descriptions provided by witnesses, the officers were able to locate the suspect nearby, leading to the arrest of the young man for theft in the act.
