The 2024 edition of the Cimego Christmas Market concluded with great success, celebrating local traditions and attracting thousands of visitors to the picturesque medieval village of Quartinago. The event, which took place over three weekends from November 30 to December 15, saw an average daily attendance ranging from 500 to 1,000 people, coming from various Italian provinces, including visitors from cities such as Bologna and Venice. The President of the Valle del Chiese Events Association, Graziano Tamburini, emphasized the importance of preserving local traditions as a valuable heritage for the region.
The market featured 40 stalls set up in historic courtyards and cellars, offering typical crafts and local dishes such as polenta macafana. Side events included live music and workshops for children, making the initiative suitable for all ages. Tamburini expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success, highlighting the authenticity and charm of the village as a draw for tourists seeking genuine experiences in the heart of Trentino.
