An intervention by law enforcement has led to the closure of Bar 55 in Gavardo, a decision made by the police chief of Brescia following repeated incidents of problematic clientele. The establishment, located on Via Andrea Gosa, has been sealed off for ten days after several patrons with criminal records were found in possession of small quantities of drugs during inspections. This decision comes after a series of operations conducted in the vicinity of the bar in recent weeks.
The carabinieri carried out the order in an effort to enhance public safety in the area, which is situated near the hospital. Authorities will monitor the situation to assess whether this closure will have a positive impact on public order; if not, the possibility of permanently revoking the bar’s license may be considered.
