A creative workshop dedicated to children will take place on Sunday, November 24th at 2:30 PM at MarteS, the Sorlini Art Museum in Calvagese della Riviera. The event, titled “WHAT A VENTURE!”, is inspired by the adventures of Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint George, allowing participants to discover the deeds of these heroes through playful and artistic activities. Children aged between 5 and 11 will explore legendary symbols such as the sword and armor, engaging in tests of courage and skill before creating their own “hero’s wings.”
The workshop includes a storytelling session in the museum that introduces the young participants to the history of the warrior saints, followed by an obstacle course to test their physical abilities. Finally, they will have the opportunity to build and decorate wings using creative materials. The cost of admission is €11 per person for a two-hour experience. Until January 6, 2025, the Saint Michael the Archangel created by Fra’ Girolamo da Brescia will be on display at the museum, providing a unique opportunity to appreciate this artwork in the context of the workshop.
