Starting from April 9, 2024, the demolition works of the former “Caterina de’ Medici” Hotel Institute, located on Via R. Follereau, will begin. This operation is necessary for the construction of a new school building for the lower secondary school and for expanding the spaces of the currently functioning hotel institute.
To minimize inconvenience to the population, the Municipal Administration has developed a specific plan that includes precautionary measures to reduce the production of dust and noise. In addition, restrictions have been imposed on the transit times of vehicles used for transporting residual materials. The expected duration for the demolition works is approximately one month.
These interventions are part of an urban renewal context and improvement of educational infrastructure, demonstrating the administration’s attention to the educational and environmental needs of the Gardone Riviera community.
