During checks carried out by the Financial Police in Desenzano, an irregularity related to the organization of a lottery by a local bar was discovered. The initiative, connected to the extraction of numbers from the Venice wheel, had not been authorized by the Customs and Monopolies Agency.
As often happens during the holidays, many businesses organize lotteries and raffles to engage customers and offer various prizes. However, in this specific case, the initiative resulted in a fine of 2,000 euros for the bar owner.
The checks conducted by the Financial Police also led to the seizure of the prizes at stake, which were of an enogastronomic nature.
