The Court of Auditors has definitively rejected the appeal filed by Carlalberto Presicci, former commander of the local police of Desenzano del Garda, regarding the compensation of approximately €918,000 owed to the Municipality. The decision confirms what was established by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Brescia in 2020, which had discovered the forgery of the degree certificate submitted by Presicci at the time of the competition.
In 2020, an investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Brescia revealed that the law degree certificate, with a score of 110/110 obtained from the University of Parma in 1992 and submitted by Presicci, was fake. This discovery had serious consequences for the former commander, who had been in office since 1997 until his resignation in 2020.
Following the verification and discovery of the fake certificate, disciplinary measures were taken against Carlalberto Presicci. After resigning, the command of the local police was temporarily entrusted to the then deputy commander, Gianfranca Bravo. The compensation imposed on Presicci amounts to approximately €918,000, which must be paid to the Municipality of Desenzano as compensation for the damages suffered.
