Desenzano is preparing for the opening of the new Catullo middle school, with a relocation involving over 500 students. Next Tuesday will mark the debut of the new building, located at the corner of via Dugazze and via Michelangelo, which will replace the old structure on via Pace. With an investment of over 12 million euros, the new school spans an area of 3,628 square meters distributed over two floors. The relocation of equipment has been completed, and final touches are being made to ensure everything is ready for the students’ arrival.
To ensure the safety of students during entry and exit from the school, the municipality has implemented a speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour in the surrounding area, aiming to create a safer environment, especially in light of the future Garda cycle path. Additionally, the school transportation service will remain unchanged regarding schedules and stops, using the side road as a reference point. Local police will also be present during the first days to monitor the situation and ensure orderly and safe transit.
