As part of the anti-fascist and anti-colonial literary review “Renegade to Avoid Restoration,” on Sunday, March 23, 2025, a presentation of the book “Parallel Universe – The Privilege Paradigm” by Nogaye Ndiaye will take place in Desenzano. The author, a Senegalese-born activist with a degree in Law, explores in her work an upside-down world where white people face discrimination. During the event, which will be held at 6 PM at Casa dei Popoli T. Sankara, Ndiaye aims to provoke a reflection on the concept of racism and privilege, inviting readers to consider how discrimination is not tied to skin color but rather to power and supremacy.
In this context, the book also serves as a response to narratives that downplay the experiences of Black individuals, emphasizing that all forms of discrimination are senseless and driven by insidious interests. With incisive and provocative language, Ndiaye seeks to stimulate a critical debate on the perception of racism in contemporary society.
