On May 30, 2024, six pomegranate trees were planted in Bonatti Park in Desenzano, thanks to the initiative of the Lions Club Desenzano Host Alta Velocità, led by Giuseppe Lanfranchi. The event saw the participation of students from Rivoltella Elementary School, who actively collaborated in planting the trees. This project, carried out in collaboration with the local municipality and school, aims to improve the park’s landscape and create a favorable environment for bees.
The president of the Lions Club, Giuseppe Lanfranchi, emphasized the importance of the initiative in enriching the green lung of the area and announced future planting of cherry trees. These trees will further contribute to the protection of bees and enhance the park’s beauty with their blossoms. The initiative represents a significant step forward in promoting environmental sustainability and raising awareness among younger generations about caring for the environment.
