The 2024/2025 Concert Season in Desenzano del Garda has recently been unveiled, featuring a program of 10 free concerts from December 1, 2024, to April 13, 2025. The season will kick off on Sunday, December 1, at 4:00 PM at the Teatro Alberti, with a special event celebrating the 150th anniversary of the local band, the Filarmonica Città di Desenzano del Garda. Artistic director Maestro Luca Ranieri expressed his satisfaction with this collaboration, while the Cultural Policies Councillor Pietro Avanzi emphasized the significance of the event for the local community.
Among the highlights of the program is the Christmas Concert, scheduled for Monday, December 23, at 8:30 PM in the Cathedral of Desenzano, featuring “I piccoli musici” under the direction of Mario Mora. The New Year’s concert will take place on Saturday, December 28, at 8:30 PM at the Church of San Biagio in Rivoltella, with the orchestra “I Cameristi” and soloist Luca Milani. The season will continue with various chamber music concerts leading up to the final lyrical recital on April 13, starring baritone Alessio Arduini and soprano Chiara Milini. All events are free of charge.
