An incident of aggression against a public transport driver occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 11, in Riva del Garda. According to reports from Uiltrasporti, the incident took place while the driver was returning to the station; a girl, distracted by her phone, was walking in the middle of the road. The driver honked the horn to alert her, but the young woman reacted with insults and aggression.
After entering the bus station and letting the passengers disembark, the girl got back on the bus and grabbed the driver by the hair, leading to a scuffle that caused both of them to fall down the bus steps. During the altercation, the girl spat at the driver and the bus, also damaging the bus’s windshield wiper. Law enforcement arrived promptly on the scene to manage the situation.
