A 60-year-old motorist experienced a medical emergency while traveling on the A4 stretch between the Peschiera del Garda and Sirmione exits, heading towards Milan. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon when the man, suddenly unwell, lost control of his vehicle. Emergency responders and law enforcement quickly arrived at the scene, also coordinating the arrival of a helicopter ambulance that took off from Brescia to transport him urgently to the Civil Hospital.
The incident had significant repercussions on traffic along the highway, with queues extending for several kilometers in the Lower Garda area. The man was hospitalized in critical condition, and authorities are monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of other motorists on the A4.
