An e-commerce for the excellence of Valvestino has recently launched online, offering a wide range of typical products and experiences related to sustainable tourism. The virtual store, Visit Val Vestino Shop, has been developed by the Ecomuseum of Valvestino in collaboration with the Forest Consortium Terra tra i due Laghi and Jecoguides, with the support of funds from the Pnrr Next Generation EU. Among the available items are wildflower honey, indigenous beans, and maps of local trails. Sales are already active in anticipation of the Christmas holidays.
The initiative goes beyond merely selling products; it aims to enhance the territory through unique experiences such as “Adopt a Cow,” which allows participants to interact with the animals and taste dairy products made from their milk. Starting in January, the platform will also be open to small farms in the valley, giving them the opportunity to share their stories and contribute to the sustainable development of the area. This project represents a significant step towards promoting local traditions and protecting the mountain environment.
