In Villa di Gargnano, ecological street art comes to life thanks to the initiative of retired artist-painter Claudia Allievi. Originally from Salò and residing between Milan and Lake Garda, Claudia has transformed a degraded area near the stream of the San Tommaso valley into an open-air art gallery. Along the stream’s embankment, she has painted a gigantic mural and planted various species such as calla lilies and bamboo, creating a small paradise that attracts numerous visitors every day.
Claudia Allievi’s intervention has revitalized a previously abandoned space used as a landfill, demonstrating how art can contribute to the enhancement of the territory. This project not only beautifies the urban landscape but also promotes awareness of ecological and sustainable practices. The area is now accessible near the small bridge just before the “riva Granda,” offering visitors a unique experience combining art and nature.
