The upgrading of the Affi wastewater treatment plant has recently been completed, thanks to an investment of 3.2 million euros funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The inauguration of the new facility will take place on Monday, February 3, at 10:30 AM, in the presence of Environment Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin and local representatives, including Mayor Marco Sega and Angelo Cresco, President of Azienda Gardesana Servizi (AGS). This intervention aims to enhance the energy and management efficiency of the plant, thereby contributing to the environmental protection of the area.
The works included a complete structural and functional renovation of the existing facility, optimizing the purification process and reducing odor impact in the surrounding area. Thanks to these improvements, a significant increase in the quality of water returned to the environment is expected. The project is part of broader efforts to ensure a cleaner and more sustainable environment for the local community.
