The Garda Karate Lions team participated with great enthusiasm and determination in the Schwaben Open 2024 in Kempten, accompanied by coach Giovanni and some parents. The seven athletes competed in various categories and achieved exceptional results.
Eleonora Tonni, in the U8 -25 kg category, conquered first place, demonstrating great skill and determination. In the Open category, Eleonora finished in second place, once again confirming her fighting abilities.
Alessandro Tonni, in the U10 -30 kg category, performed excellently, winning first place. In the Open category, Alessandro achieved an extraordinary result, finishing in first place.
Cristin Raimondi and Favalli Leonardo competed in the U12 -32 kg category. Cristin finished in third place while Leonardo stood on the second step of the podium. In the Open category, Leonardo replicated his result, once again finishing in second place.
Del Menico excelled in the U10 +40 kg category, conquering first place with impeccable performance. Gabriele Carraturo, on the other hand, reached second place in the U10 -35 kg category.
The team also participated in the team competition with Alan Vezzola, Gabriele Carraturo, and Del Menico in the U10 category. Thanks to the commitment and synergy of these young athletes, the team achieved first place.
Another great recognition was awarded to the Garda Karate Lions team. They won the “DOJO BURGKIRCHEN & GARDA KARATE LIONS 1′ PLACE BEST FRIENDS” cup, which represents the true values of sports such as healthy competition, respect for others, and friendship.
This extraordinary result demonstrates the commitment and dedication of coach Giovanni and the entire Garda Karate Lions team. It was intense days, filled with passion for karate and the desire to challenge themselves. The athletes demonstrated great technical skills and a winning mindset.
