The FeralpiSalò celebrated Christmas with a significant event on December 3rd, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The Christmas dinner, titled “Passions and Dreams,” took place at the Cantina Bottenago in Polpenazze, bringing together over 200 guests, including partners, authorities, and fans, in an atmosphere of empathy and integration. During the evening, the docufilm “DCPS – Where We Cultivate Passion and Dreams,” directed by Matteo Oxilia, was premiered. It tells the stories of young athletes with cognitive disabilities from the team “What Game Would It Be Without Me?”. This project aims to promote sporting inclusion, highlighting how sports can serve as a powerful tool for social change.
The event also featured the participation of Federico Bicelli, a gold medalist at the Paralympics in Paris, whose presence inspired the young athletes in attendance. The docufilm not only celebrates the tenth anniversary of the football school for individuals with cognitive disabilities founded by FeralpiSalò in 2015, but it will also be showcased at the Giffoni Film Festival in 2025. Through this commitment to the rights of persons with disabilities, FeralpiSalò once again demonstrates its pioneering role in sports and society, building bridges through essential values such as inclusion and solidarity.
