On Wednesday, December 11th, **Calvagese della Riviera** will celebrate the 99th anniversary of the birth of **Luciano Sorlini**, the founder of MarteS, with a day of **free admission** to the museum. To mark this occasion, the museum will offer guided tours every hour from 10 AM to 2 PM and from 6 PM to 9 PM, with prior reservation required on the official website. This initiative provides a unique opportunity to explore the history of the Sorlini Collection, which includes significant works such as Giovanni Bellini’s Madonna “in red” and the series of canvases by Gianantonio Guardi.
The collection was originally created to adorn the residences of the Brescia entrepreneur and is now housed in the Sorlini Palace in Calvagese della Riviera. Following his passing in 2015, MarteS has become an important hub for the preservation and promotion of the artworks collected by Sorlini.
