Alice Don from the Garda Karate Team shone in Fujairah, in the United Arab Emirates, during the first leg of the Karate 1 Youth League 2025, which took place from February 20 to 23 at the “Zayed Sports Complex.” The event, of significant international importance, saw the participation of around 2,300 athletes from various countries, divided into U21, Junior, Cadet, and U14 categories. Among the participants, over 50 Italian karateka represented their respective clubs.
In the competition, Alice Don competed in the U21 -61 kg category, achieving a remarkable seventh place. The officials of the Garda Karate Team expressed their satisfaction with the result achieved by the young athlete, highlighting the importance of the experience gained in such a prestigious context. This milestone will not only enrich her sports journey but also serve as an inspiration for the younger students who will return to train with her upon her return.
