The tragedy of the murder-suicide that occurred in Lonato on Easter Monday has left a profound trace of pain and dismay in the community. Cristian Catalano, 49 years old, and his partner Shau Li, 44 years old, were found dead in their apartment. Investigations are still ongoing and the results of toxicological tests are awaited to better understand the causes that led to this dramatic conclusion.
In the meantime, tomorrow (April 8th), Catalano’s relatives and friends will go to Brescia to collect the body at the Civil Hospital. It will be entrusted to a local funeral agency to organize the funeral.
Amidst the grief and sadness, there has been a glimmer of humanity: the owners of the company Catalano had been working for a year and a half, Andreis Segnaletica in Padenghe, have offered to pay for the expenses of the final farewell and burial.
