Over the weekend, the Garda Karate Team experienced intense moments with two significant events: participation in the ATP Games in Varese and a training session of the CTR Lombardia. On Sunday, February 2, athletes Alice Don and Gaia Maffizzoli represented their respective provinces in a kata and kumite competition, where Alice achieved an excellent third place for the province of Bergamo. This event, organized by the Lombardy Regional Committee of Fijlkam, featured the participation of senior athletes and those under 18.
Additionally, on Saturday, February 1, an important training session took place at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Brembate di Sopra, focusing on both kata and kumite. Under the guidance of Master Rolando Gaido, GKT athletes had the opportunity to train alongside other karate practitioners, including those involved in parakarate. The training session provided a comprehensive learning experience for all participants, thanks in part to the presence of coaches Adriana and Stefania.
