A new tourism promotion project for Lake Garda, titled “Garda Unico,” was presented on Wednesday, the 29th, at VeronaFiere by regional councilors Barbara Mazzali (Lombardy Region), Federico Caner (Veneto Region), and Roberto Failoni (Autonomous Province of Trento). The initiative, active since 2008, aims to unite the strengths of the three territories to enhance the lake’s beauty through a unique brand and a shared strategy. With a total investment of 900,000 euros, the project seeks to improve the international competitiveness of the area by optimizing resources and overcoming promotional fragmentation.
Lake Garda is one of Italy’s most important tourist destinations, with over 300,000 residents and a lodging capacity exceeding 240,000 beds. According to the involved councilors, the “Garda Unico” project not only aims to strengthen the lake’s image in the global market but also to meet the diverse needs of travelers by offering personalized experiences in cultural and gastronomic contexts. The president of the Garda Community, Senator Martiastella Gelmini, expressed satisfaction with this initiative, which promises to promote the territory in a unified and coordinated manner both in Italy and abroad.
