The mayors of the Garda Veronese celebrated the start of the 2025 tourism season by signing a flag that represents the 56 countries that visited the lake in 2024. The event, organized by Federalberghi Garda Veneto at the Ristorante Bardolino, saw the participation of numerous local representatives and tourism operators. President Ivan De Beni highlighted an encouraging booking rate, with around 60% already registered, signaling a promising start to the season. The attending mayors emphasized the importance of collaboration among institutions and associations to promote sustainable and diversified tourism.
Despite the positive outlook, the shortage of seasonal workers remains a challenge, although there are signs of improvement compared to previous years. The flag signed by the mayors symbolizes not only the welcome extended to tourists but also the commitment to enhance the area’s beauty and create an increasingly attractive tourism offering. The season is therefore off to a good start, with hopes of further consolidating the tourist influx in the near future.
