Gardaland has announced the world premiere of Animal Treasure Island, a new attraction set to debut in 2025, coinciding with the amusement park’s fiftieth anniversary. Located in Castelnuovo del Garda, the park will be the first in the world to present this immersive experience, developed by Merlin Magic Making and designed for global implementation. Sabrina de Carvalho, CEO of Gardaland, emphasized the significance of this launch, highlighting how the new attraction will offer visitors a unique adventure through a 6,000 square meter underground water dark ride featuring twenty engaging scenes.
With a planned investment of approximately 10 million euros, Animal Treasure Island promises to entertain guests with a captivating story that explores universal themes such as the struggle between good and evil within a treasure hunt context. This project is part of Merlin Entertainments’ international strategy, with plans to replicate the experience in other parks following its debut at Gardaland. The new attraction aligns with the celebrations for the park’s fiftieth anniversary and represents a significant step towards expanding family-oriented entertainment offerings.
