Gardaland Resort celebrates a significant milestone with the inauguration of its 50th anniversary season, introducing five exciting new attractions. Among these, the world premiere of “Animal Treasure Island” stands out, a water dark ride that promises to deliver an unprecedented immersive experience.
Founded in 1975, Gardaland Resort has become a symbol of entertainment in Italy, hosting over 100 million visitors throughout its history. With more than 40 attractions suitable for all ages, the park has evolved over time while consistently maintaining high standards of entertainment and innovation.
World Premiere of Animal Treasure Island
Today marks the official opening of “Animal Treasure Island,” a new attraction that takes visitors on an exciting adventure on a mysterious island. Spanning 6,000 square meters and featuring 20 engaging scenes, this experience utilizes cutting-edge technology to ensure total immersion. As highlighted by Stefano Cigarini, CEO and Vice President of Gardaland Resort: “With a €10 million investment, this experience offers visitors a unique level of engagement.”
The ride also includes a 360-degree binaural audio system with over 250 speakers and an original soundtrack created specifically for the attraction. Luisa Forestali, Head of Marketing at Gardaland, emphasized how the characters are designed to forge strong emotional connections with the audience: “The characters embody values and behaviors that allow visitors to connect easily.”

- Bim Bum Bam Live: A tribute to the ’80s and ’90s that brings back Uan, the beloved pink puppet cherished by generations.
- Dragon Empire: A revamped area inspired by the East featuring new adrenaline-pumping experiences such as Rocket Factory.
- A.I. The Future is Here: An innovative show at the Gardaland Theatre that combines technology and creativity.
- Prezzemolo and the Mystery of Hidden Worlds: A new adventure at the 4D Cinema that explores the park’s origins.
Employment Growth and Economic Development
With the start of the spring season, Gardaland has increased its staff by hiring nearly 700 new seasonal employees. Cigarini stated: “In tourism, excellence is built on people,” emphasizing the importance of ongoing training to ensure service quality.
The resort extends beyond just the amusement park; it also includes three themed hotels designed to provide unforgettable stays. The goal is to transform Gardaland into an attractive year-round destination through special events such as Magic Halloween and Magic Winter.
