Gardone Riviera is preparing to host a significant music event on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 5:30 PM at the charming Palazzo Wimmer, formerly a casino. The occasion is the closing of the mini-festival “Waiting for Sounds and Flavors of Garda,” organized by the Municipality of Gardone Riviera under the artistic direction of Maestro Serafino Tedesi.
Matteo Becucci, known for his warm and versatile voice, will be accompanied by the Archimia String Quartet, composed of Serafino Tedesi (I violin), Paolo Costanzo (II violin), Matteo Del Soldà (viola), and Andrea Anzalone (cello). Together, they will present a show titled “Chamber Pop,” an original fusion of acoustic concert chamber sounds with rock/pop influences.
The meeting between these two musical entities, coming from different paths but united by a passion for acoustic and chamber music, will give life to a program that will range from the great names of international pop music. The audience will be taken on a musical journey that includes songs by artists such as Lucio Dalla, Sting, Peter Gabriel, and Edoardo Bennato.
The event will be free admission until seats are filled, offering the opportunity for all enthusiasts to enjoy this unique experience. The Garda Community has contributed to the realization and organization of the event, also taking care of the institutional and administrative coordination.
The appointment is therefore set for Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 5:30 PM at Palazzo Wimmer on Corso Giuseppe Zanardelli 164 in Gardone Riviera. An unmissable opportunity to immerse oneself in an engaging and refined musical atmosphere.
