The Spring Orientation Meeting of the Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) took place in Gardone Riviera, a cultural exchange program that involves young students from around the globe. During the meeting, held last weekend, details of the program for the 2025-26 school year were presented, with 29 students set to depart from District 2050, including 10 from the province of Brescia. These young individuals will have the opportunity to engage in formative experiences immersed in diverse cultures, attending their fourth year of high school in various destinations across the five continents.
The RYE is not merely a study holiday; it offers a significant opportunity for personal growth and the development of intercultural skills. Italian families will also host foreign students, creating an environment of mutual exchange that enriches both parties involved. With the guidance of local coordinators and support from the Rotary network, participants are preparing to become aware and open-minded global citizens.
