A significant cultural event will take place in Gardone Riviera on Saturday, March 8, at 8:45 PM, in the Wimmer Hall of the Casino. The theatrical performance “Ferite,” directed by Francesca Garioni, is the result of a workshop that has given voice and form to the stories contained in the book “Cosa vuoi che sia,” a project conceived by Silvia Polo to support anti-violence centers. This event marks a new collaboration between the city of Gardone Riviera and the municipality of Toscolano Maderno, emphasizing the importance of synergy between the two administrations.
The performance features six women and one man, aiming to highlight how violence against women can stem from everyday behaviors that are often overlooked. The choice to address this theme on International Women’s Day seeks to refocus attention on the profound significance of the event. Musical interludes by Francesco Apostoli and Aligi Colombi are also planned during the show, and at the conclusion, writer Cinzia Pennati will speak. Admission is free, inviting everyone to participate in this important cultural initiative.
