A new 118 emergency service station will be established in the former road maintenance building in Bogliaco, Gargnano, thanks to a project that has already received approval from Anas and the Regional Emergency Agency (AREU). The transformation of the currently unused property aims to ensure a more efficient emergency service for both residents and tourists in the area. Mayor Giovanni Albini announced that the initiative could commence in 2025, with the necessary planning being prepared to access renovation funds.
In addition to the operational base for the health service, the project also includes the construction of a helipad, essential for ensuring rapid assistance in an area where access routes can become complicated during the summer. During a technical inspection, aspects related to the helicopter landing were assessed, and favorable opinions were received regarding the acquisition of the necessary land portion. This initiative represents a significant step towards enhancing emergency services in the local community.
