The call for applications for the School Voucher – School Voucher Component for the 2024/2025 academic year has been opened, as approved by the Lombardy Region. Interested families can submit their applications until 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, exclusively through the dedicated online platform. The Regional Councillor for Education, Simona Tironi, emphasized the importance of the contribution, which amounts to 28 million euros, aimed at supporting the expenses of students enrolled in either private or state schools.
The School Voucher is reserved for students residing in Lombardy with an ISEE value not exceeding 40,000 euros and who have not yet turned 21. The amounts vary from 300 euros for primary school to 2,000 euros for secondary school, and the contributions will be provided in the form of vouchers that can be used online at schools until June 30, 2025. Tironi encouraged all eligible families to participate in the call, highlighting how this initiative could represent a significant opportunity for the educational future of young people in Lombardy.
