The restaurant Grual, located within the Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti, was awarded a Michelin Star during the Michelin Guide Italy 2025 ceremony held yesterday in Modena. Under the direction of Executive Chef Matteo Maenza, the restaurant, which opened in December 2019, stands out for its menu that emphasizes organic and sustainable ingredients sourced from Trentino-Alto Adige. The culinary concept is inspired by the mountains and offers two tasting menus, “Il Sentiero” and “La Cima,” consisting of eight and twelve courses, respectively.
Matteo Maenza expressed his pride in receiving this prestigious recognition, describing it as “the achievement of a lifetime” and highlighting the importance of daily passion in his work. The Michelin Star is awarded based on rigorous criteria that include the quality of ingredients and the consistency of the menu over time. With over thirty international awards already garnered by Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti, this new honor further strengthens the group’s reputation as a leader in the luxury wellness sector.
