The Ducal Palace of Mantua enhances its cultural offerings with new guided tours dedicated to the discovery of the Neoclassical Chambers and the Apartment of the Dwarfs, located in the historic Scala Santa. These special openings are scheduled for Saturday, October 12 and 26, 2024, with tours departing at 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:30 PM, and 4:00 PM. During these visits, guests will have the opportunity to explore areas that are typically not accessible to the public, accompanied by experienced staff in hospitality and supervision.
Tour Details
To participate in these tours, reservations are required at the Infopoint by calling 0376 352100, available from Tuesday to Sunday between 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Admission starts at a cost of 5 euros, while the guided service is free of charge. Visitors can meet at the exit in Piazza Sordello.
Extra Evening Openings
In addition to the weekend tours, on Friday, October 25, 2024, the Ducal Palace Museum will remain open in the evening until 11:15 PM, with the last entry allowed until 10:20 PM. This extraordinary opening will also include the Castello di S. Giorgio and the Archaeological Museum. Starting at 7:30 PM, visitors will be able to explore the ground floor of the Castle, where a new display of the museum’s Renaissance collections will be showcased. The ticket for evening entry will have a reduced price of 9 euros.
