A **30-year-old woman of Albanian descent** was arrested by the **Carabinieri** in Peschiera del Garda after committing a **theft at a hotel** at the Hotel Dorè, located in the center of **Castelnuovo del Garda**. The incident occurred on the evening of March 6, when the woman took advantage of the staff’s distraction to steal a mobile phone and a bag containing money and valuables. After the theft, the receptionist immediately alerted the Carabinieri, who responded promptly.
Thanks to the swift action of the law enforcement officers, the suspect was located shortly after at the home of an accomplice, where she was hiding along with the stolen items. Arrested for **aggravated theft** and for making threats against the officers, the woman was taken to the offices of the Carabinieri Company Command in Peschiera del Garda and subsequently placed under house arrest while awaiting a direct trial. The following morning, the Judge of the Court of Verona validated the arrest and imposed precautionary measures pending the hearing scheduled for April 2025.
