The regional assessor for Housing and Social Housing, Paolo Franco, recently conducted an inspection in Desenzano del Garda as part of the regional plan ‘Mission Lombardia’. This project has led to significant housing investments, amounting to 193.2 million euros in the province of Brescia, aimed at addressing various housing needs and promoting urban regeneration. In Desenzano, Aler has completed the renovation of buildings on via Monti and via Anselmi, with a total investment exceeding 6.1 million euros, divided between 1.15 million for six apartments on via Monti and five million for twenty-six apartments on via Anselmi.
During the visit, Franco emphasized the importance of these investments in supporting citizens in difficulty and enhancing their quality of life. The interventions carried out include seismic upgrades and energy efficiency improvements for the buildings, funded through complementary resources to the PNRR. Currently, there are twenty-four active projects at the provincial level affecting 275 apartments, with additional initiatives planned for the installation of photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions. The ‘Mission Lombardia’ plan aims not only to secure resources but also to monitor the efficiency of the works by collaborating with local authorities to facilitate access to state and European funding.
