A traffic accident involving two cars occurred in Peschiera del Garda on the Regional Road 11, around 5 PM today, August 16, 2024. Six tourists, including two children, one of whom is just a few months old, were injured and transported to the hospitals in Borgo Trento and Peschiera for evaluation. Fortunately, none of the injured individuals are in serious condition.
The firefighters from Verona, Bardolino, and Castiglione delle Stiviere responded to prevent fires during the rescue operations, creating a foam blanket under the vehicles involved. Traffic was managed by patrols from the carabinieri for about two hours, allowing passage on one lane while the road was cleared and secured.
