In recent days, the lake level has shown signs of stabilization thanks to an increase in the outflow from the Mincio River, which has risen from 110 to 130 cubic meters per second. After a 20-centimeter rise in just 48 hours, the lake now stands at 120 centimeters above the hydrometric zero. The bulletin issued yesterday by the [Garda Community](https://www.comunitadelgarda.it) provided a positive update to local mayors, stating that the situation is not alarming and that a further increase in outflow to 150 cubic meters per second is expected to ensure the safety of the area.
The sustainable maximum discharge limit from the Mincio is approaching, set at over 170 cubic meters per second. Based on the current weather conditions, the Adige-Garda bypass could be reopened, with an exemption from current regulations, to address the issues observed at the Ponte Nuovo in Verona. However, any decisions will be made based on the evolution of weather conditions in the coming days.
