Informational Meeting: “Scams Targeting the Elderly”
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 5:00 PM, an informational meeting titled “Scams Targeting the Elderly” will be held at the Teatro di Colà in Lazise. The objective of the evening is to raise awareness and provide information on protecting seniors from deception and scams.
During the event, experts in the field of security and law will share their experiences and provide valuable advice on how to prevent and deal with scam situations. The presenter for the day will be Flavio Casagrande, President of the Parents Committee AGESC/Istituto Don Bosco/Provincial Executive Member and Additional Board Member of E.L. in Verona – I.P.A.
Among the planned speakers are Dr. Cav. Flavio Marchiotto, President of the Verona Provincial Delegation/Associazione Triveneta Polizia Municipale (retired) and Vice President of E.L. in Verona – I.P.A., as well as Chief Commissioner (retired) of the Verona Municipal Police Force, and Attorney Benedetta Scienza, Criminal Lawyer at the Verona Bar.
