A 60-year-old German tourist suffered a serious accident while kitesurfing in Campione di Tremosine on August 26, 2024. Due to a sudden gust of wind, the man lost control of his board and hit his head against the rocks along the shoreline, sustaining a head injury.
Following the initial response from the volunteer ambulance service of Garda, it became necessary to call for air rescue to transport him to the civil hospital in Brescia. Fortunately, the tourist’s condition is not critical, and he is not in life-threatening danger.
