This afternoon, a charity auction was held in Bedizzole to benefit the Ugo da Como Foundation in Lonato del Garda. The event, organized by the Lions Club Morenici, aimed to raise funds for important redevelopment projects for the headquarters and surrounding areas. During the auction, items belonging to prominent figures in the world of sports, both nationally and internationally, were auctioned off.
The three most significant items up for auction were an original Inter Milan jersey, autographed directly by Lautaro Martinez and other players from the team, the original helmet used by Sofia Goggia, autographed and certified with a video of the signature, and the jersey of the captain of the Italian under 20 rugby team, Jacopo Botturi.
This initiative concludes an extraordinary year for the Lions Club Morenici, which has contributed to numerous activities in support of the community. Among the most significant initiatives are fundraising efforts and the creation and delivery of tangible items. Recently, educational materials were provided to students in Lonato, and dozens of trees were planted in Padenghe as part of a larger national environmental redevelopment project. Additionally, projects have been funded to provide specially equipped housing for people with disabilities in Montichiari.
This event also marks the end of Massimiliano Bocchio’s one-year term as president. His commitment has led to numerous tangible results, leaving behind an important legacy for the future of the Lions Club Morenici and the local community.
