The Municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere has recently announced the launch of a logo design contest that represents the local “historical activities,” such as shops, restaurants, and artisanal businesses that have marked the history and culture of the community. This logo aims to promote and enhance the rooted commercial and artisanal traditions of the area, thus strengthening the identity and tourist appeal of the city.
The contest is exclusively open to local educational institutions, such as the “Francesco Gonzaga” State Institute of Higher Education, the FOR.MA. Vocational Training Center, and the “Fondazione Casa del Giovane” Vocational Training Center. Each institution can submit up to two proposals, with the goal of actively involving young people in the cultural and historical life of the municipality and stimulating their creativity.
The logo must be original, distinctive, and versatile, adaptable to various formats, and usable in both black and white and color. It must include the wording “historical activities of Castiglione delle Stiviere” and respect all intellectual property rights, ensuring that no third-party rights are infringed. The design should be effective and communicative, suitable for use on different communication platforms such as websites, social media, and printed materials.
Proposals must be submitted via email by May 15, 2024, to protocollo@comune.castiglione.mn.it. A committee will select the projects based on criteria of recognizability, originality, readability, and technical correctness. The winning project will receive a prize of 500 euros, in addition to significant recognition that will contribute to the image and visibility of the winning institution. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
The selected logo will become the property of the Municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere, which can use it for all communication and institutional needs related to the historical activities. Furthermore, the municipality reserves the right to make any necessary modifications to the design to adapt it to graphic and institutional standards.
