The Informagiovani Service has been launched in Lonato del Garda, an initiative that also involves the municipalities of Bedizzole and Calvagese della Riviera, in collaboration with the Cooperatives La Sorgente s.c.s. and Cauto. The project “OrientA express 1534,” partially funded by the Lombardy Region with €60,000, is aimed at adolescents and young adults aged 15 to 34, with the goal of facilitating youth orientation in the area and promoting their sense of belonging to the community. The new service will be located in the “Fuori Onda” spaces and will offer a youth hub where young people can socialize and receive information on education, employment, and volunteering.
The opening of the Informagiovani Service is scheduled for March, with service desks operating on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Councillor for Social Services, Nicola Bianchi, emphasized the importance of informing young people about the available opportunities, while Mayor Roberto Tardani highlighted how this initiative could help create a support network for the younger generations. Those interested can contact the operators for more information or to schedule appointments.
